A total of Fourteen Ralstonia isolates were collected and isolated from Gazipur, Bogura and Debigonj. Among the isolates, isolate 9 was used for in vitro management study. Four different doses (0.05%, 0.10%, 0.20% and 0.30%) of Urea, Sable bleaching powder, Lime, Boric acid and Sodium chloride were tested against Ralstonia Solanacearum. Among the tested chemicals, only Boric acid totally control R. Solanacearum at 0.10%, 0.20%, 0.30% concentration.

Pest Management
To identify the effective chemicals to control bacterial wilt of potato.
An in vitro experiment was conducted to control R. Solanacearum with different chemicals in the laboratory of plant pathology, Tuber Crops Research Centre, BARI, Gazipur during 2012-13. Bacterial wilt infected plant samples were collected from three locations of Gazipur, Bogra and Debigong during cropping season of 2012-13. TZC supplemented Kelman’s agar media was used for isolation of this bacteria. Four different doses (0.05%, 0.10%, 0.20% and 0.30%) of Urea, Sable bleaching powder, Lime, Boric acid and Sodium chloride were used for in vitro study following poison food technique. One control treatment was also included for comparison. Inoculated bacterium was incubated at 22±20C in incubator for 5 days. After that Petri plates were examined; data were taken.
