With 100 C.olitorius germ plasm along with two varieties (O-9897 and O-72) as control at Jute Agriculture Experimental Station (JAES), Jagir, Manikgonj to evaluate their sensitivity to short-day. The experiment was carried out with three sowing dates, which were 18th February, 1st March and 11th March 2007. The average day lengths were 10.90, 11.14, and 11.48 hours, respectively, in 3 sowing dates. The result showed that only 4 accessions((2506,2653,3065 and 3089) of 1st sowing, 12 accessions (2433, 2441, 2506,2518, 2524, 2554, 2653, 2669, 3031, 3064, 3065 and 3087) of 2nd sowing and 26 accessions(2488, 2492, 2496, 2506, 2511, 2514, 2518, 2519, 2554, 2557, 2567, 2588, 2615, 2629, 2635, 2656, 2656, 2769, 3031, 3034, 3039, 3050, 3060,3065, 3087 and 3094) of 3rd sowing were not flower upon 120 days.
