Fifteen new germplasm received from CIP during 2005-06 were planted at BSPC, Debigonj under net house for multiplication. From each line 1.6-123.4 kg and in total 818.9 kg tubers were produced.

To multiply selected promising genotypes for future study

Fifteen germplasm were planted in single row system with spacing of 60 cm x 20 cm at BSPC, Debigonj under net house. Fertilizers were applied @ 325-220-250 kg/ha of urea, TPS and MP respectively. Full amount of TPS & MP and 50% of urea were applied as basal and the remaining amount of urea was side dressed at 35 DAP. Weeding, irrigation, earthing-up and other intercultural operations were done as per TCRC recommendation. The crop was harvested at maturity.
