Find Out the Efficacy of New Chemical Insecticides Against Jute Hairy Cater Pillar

Abstract/ Executive Summary:

After sufficient infestation of hairy caterpillar built up in the field, selected insecticides Leader 10 insecticides Cymbush 10 EC, Haymethrin 10 EC @ 0.5ml/1 was sprayed along with standard counted before spray and percent reduction was recorded after 3 days and 7 days of treatments. All the insecticides found significantly effective higher yield over control . These chemicals have been recommended for the growers use.

Objectives:

Methodology:

The experiment was conducted at JAES, Manikganj in randomized plot ( 2x 2m) with 4 replications. After sufficient infestation of hairy caterpillar built up in the field, selected insecticides Leader 10 EC, Jubas 2.5 EC, Keeper 10 EC, Haymethrin 10 EC @ 0.5ml/l water was sprayed along with standard insecticides Cymbush 10 EC. the control plot was remain untreated. population/plot was counted before spray and percent reduction was recorded after 3 days and 7 days of treatments.

Achievement/Findings:
