Abstract/ Executive Summary:

Salt tolerant varieties for Aus and Boro necessary to increase the rice production in Bangladesh. A study was under taken with the objective to confirm the crosses involving salt tolerant parents for Aus and Boro season. Eleven multiple cross population for Aus and 29 single cross populations for Boro seasons were developed. Thirty one crosses were confirmed as F1 and registered in BRRI cross list.

Objectives:

Methodology:

Eleven multiple cross population for Aus and 29 single cross populations for Boro seasons were developed. All the F1 seeds were grown from each along with their parents in the net house following usual practice.
