A field experiment was conducted at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University to assess the effect of integrated nutrient management on the growth and yield of hybrid dhan hira 2  during December 2011 to April 2012. The highest plant height, tillers per hill, effective tillers per hill, panicle length, grain per panicle, number of filled grain per panicle and Weight of 1000 grains were found from T3 Treatment and number of unfilled grain per panicle found from T8 but raw grain yield, raw straw yield, dry grain yield and dry straw yield were found from T3 . The highest concentrations of N, P, K in grain and K in straw were recorded in T3 . The highest concentrations of S in grain and the highest concentrations of N and P in straw were recorded from T2. The highest amount of N, P, K and S uptake by grain and the highest amount of N, P, K and S uptake by straw were found in the T3 treatment. The highest organic matter , total N, available P and S and K were recorded from T9, T3, T2, T10 treatments respectively and in all cases the lowest values were observed in T1 treatment.

To assess the effect of integrated nutrient management on the growth and yield of hybrid dhan hira 2 

A field experiment was conducted at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural Universityto assess the effect of integrated nutrient management on the growth and yield of hybrid dhan hira 2 were significantly affected by different treatments during December 2011 to April 2012.

Treatments:

The experiment consists of 10 treatments each with three replications is presented below:

T1: No nitrogenous chemical fertilizer and no mantures (Control)

T2: 120 kg N/ha from urea

T3: 90 kg N/ha from urea + 30 kg N/ha from vermicompost (VC)

T4: 90 kg N/ha from urea + 30 kg N/ha from pressmud

T5: 60 kg N/ha from urea + 60 kg N/ha from vermicompost (VC)

T6: 60 kg N/ha from urea + 60 kg N/ha from pressmud

T7: 30 kg N/ha from urea + 90 kg N/ha from vermicompost (VC)

T8: 30 kg N/ha from urea + 90 kg N/ha from pressmud

T9: 120 kg N/ha from  vermicompost (VC)

T10: 120 kg N/ha from  pressmud
