The study was carried out at the Fruit Orchard of Regional Agricultural Research Station, Jamalpur during the fruiting season of 2013-14. Forty three accessions viz. ZM Jam-44, 101, 105, 107, 122, 127, 138, 140, 141, 143 145, 149, 150, 151, 160, 163, 174, 178, 180, 182, 188, 192, 193, 196, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 208, 212, 222, 229, 235, 238, 239, 248, 283, ZM Jam-284, Rajshahi Kul, Taiwan kul and Dhaka-90 along with three check varieties viz. BARI Kul-1, BAU Kul and Apple kul were used in the study. Data on plant spread (N-S & E-W), plant height, base girth, flowering time, harvesting time were recorded for tree characters. For fruit characteristics 20 fruits from each accession were randomly harvested and used for collection of data on individual fruit weight, length and breadth of fruit, stone weight, stone length and breadth, yield per plant, % edible portion, % TSS content, fruit shape, skin color, flesh color, crispiness, sweetness, taste and fruit surface. On the basis of collected data statistical analyzed was done following MS Excel programme.
