Performance
Sorgan bed method and Lebukhali model were used in vegetables production systems by 13 farmers. In sorjan bed method, number of beds were varied from 7-11. For, implementing Lebukhali model, 1.5 m×3 m six bed were prepared by each farmer. Ten different types of vegetable seeds namely, Indian spinach, Lady’s finger, Bitter gourd, Yard long bean, Cucumber, Stem Amaranth, Wax gourd, Ribbed gourd, Pumpkin and Pat shak were distributed among thirteen farmers.The fertilizer rate for Indian spinach, 800-400-400 g/decimal urea, TSP, MP were used. The fertilizer rate for Lady’s finger, 230-350-230 g/decimal urea, TSP, MP and for Bitter gourd 7 kg cowdung, 100 g TSP, 60 g MP and 75 g urea per pit were used. The fertilizer rate for Yard long bean, 100-90-75 g/decimal urea, TSP, MP and for Cucumber, 600-800-600 g/decimal urea, TSP, MP were used. The fertilizer rate for Stem Amaranth, 700-500-600 g/decimal urea, TSP, MP and for Wax gourd, 200-200-75 g/pit urea, TSP, MP. The fertilizer rate for Ribbed gourd, 200-150-80 g/pit urea, TSP, MP and for Pumpkin, 200-200-75 g/pit urea, TSP, MP. The fertilizer rate for Pat shak, 700-500-600 g/decimal urea , TSP, MP. Irrigation and insecticide were used as when necessary.
