The study was conducted with the objective to study the adaptability and yield potentiality of the identified hybrids at different locations. Two promising hybrids of T Aman season was evaluated with check variety BRRI dhan31, BRRI dhan32 and BRRI dhan33 with a view to access yield potentiality and adaptability across environment. BRRI1A/BR827R and BRRI1A/BR168R gave 1 t/ha yield advantage, over BRRI dhan31 and BRRI dhan32 with 10 days earlier growth duration. These two entries also produced 2 t/ha more yield than the BRRI dhan33 with similar growth duration.

To study the adaptability and yield potentiality of the identified hybrids at different locations

Two (2) experimental hybrids (BRRI1A/BR827 & BRRI1A/BR168) along with checks (BRRI dhan31, BRRI dhan32 & BRRI dhan33) were grown with a plot size 5 x 4 m2. RCB design was used with 3 replications. Twenty one (21) days old seedlings were transplanted with a spacing 20 cm x 15 cm.  Fertilizers at the rate of 150- 100-70-60-10 Urea- TSP- MP- Gypsum- ZnSO4 Kg/ha was used.
