Site selection: According to BARC thematic area and on the basis of Upazila Guide, experimental site was selected in Charharirampur union in Charbhadrashon Upazila in light textured medium highland soils of accreted land (char).
Sample collection: Composite soil samples were collected before setting up of the research and after final harvest of wheat following standard method.
Land preparation: Land was prepared before sowing each crop.
Fertilizer treatments: Fertilizer treatments were-
T1= Farmer’s conventional fertilizer practice=130%N-70%P-55%K-100%S-0%Zn-100%B+Cowdung@6t/ha
T2=100%NPKSZnB of Recommended Doses;
T3=90%N-87%P-67%K-100%SZnB+Cow dung @ 3t/ha and
T4=88%N-55%P-77%K-100%SZnB+ Cow dung @ 1.5 t/ha.
Fertilizer treatments for Broadcast Aus were:
T1=154%N-71%P-90%K-100%S-0%Zn+Cow dung @6ton/ha;
T2=100%NPKSZn of Recommended Doses;
T3=62%N-60%P-0%K-100%SZn+ Cow dung @ 3 t/ha and
T4=50%N-00%P-19%K-100%SZn+ Poultry Manure @ 1.5 t/ha.
Recommended doses of fertilizers were calculated on the basis fertility status of soil using Fertilizer Recommendation Guide 2005, BARC.
