An experiment was carried out with tomato varieties viz. Binatomato-6 and Binatomat-7 at BINA sub-station, Ishurdi during November 2012 to April 2013. Chitosan of different concentrations viz. 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100 ppm were applied at vegetative and reproductive stages of the tomato varieties. It was obsered that Application of chitosan @ 75 ppm can increase the yield of tomato.

To investigate the effect of different levels of Christian on yield and yield attributes of tomato

The experiment was carried out with Binatomato-6 and Binatomato-7 at BINA sub-station Ishurdi during November 2012 to April 2013. Four concentrations of chitosen viz. 0 (control), 50, 75 and 100 ppm were sprayed in at vegetative and reproductive stages. In control, water was sprayed as per treatment. The experiment was laid out in randomized complete design with three replications. The unit plot size was 3m x 4m and plant spacing was 50 cm x 50 cm.
