The experiments were carried out at BINA substations, Ishurdi, Magura and Jamalpur during the period from February to May to investigate morphological characters and seed yield of some elite mungbean mutants over locations. The experiment was laid out in randomized complete block design with three replications. Binamoog-7 produced the tallest plants and MB-1 produced the shortest plants. The highest number of branch was found in N4I-305 and the lowest in MB-17. Results revealed that bold seeded genotypes produced lower number of pods plant-1 compared to small and medium seeded ones. Out of eight mungbean genotypes MB-1, N4I-305 and Binamoog-8 produced the highest seed yield.

To investigate morphological characters and seed yield of some elite mungbean mutants

The experiments were conducted at three locations viz., BINA sub-stations, Ishurdi, Magura and Jamalpur during the period from February to May 2013. The experiment was laid out in randomized complete block design with three replications. The unit plot size was 3 m x 3 m. Data on morphological and yield attributes were recorded at harvest from randomly selected plants in each plot and seed yield was taken from the whole plot and converted into kg ha-1.
