The experiment was conducted to find out the effect of Urea Molasses Block (UMB) supplementation on productive and reproductive performances of Black Bengal does. For this purpose, 12 Black Bengal does of approximately 6 months of age were 3 blocked according to live weight and these blocks were assigned to 4 treatments (T0, T1, T2 and T3) having 3 replications for each. Among these, T0 treatment was assigned to control feeding (only grazing) and another 3 treatments (T1, T2 and T3) were assigned to UMB feeding. These T1, T2 and T3 treatments were grazing with 50 g, 100 g and 150 g UMB/day by feeding respectively. Live weight of individual does was recorded fortnightly to detect their live weight changes according to pregnancy. Average initial live weight, live weight at first kidding and final live weight of T0, T1, T2 and T3 were 11.63, 15.40 and 13.00 kg; 11.60, 15.90 and 14.36 kg; 11.57, 16.20 and 15.33 kg and 11.63, 15.60 and 14.30 kg respectively but the final weight differs significantly (p<0.05) among the treatment groups. Live weight of individual kids was recorded weekly to detect their growth rate. The average live weight for gain treatments T0, T1, T2 and T3 were 53.22, 67.51 and 74.79 g/d respectively. Daily live weight gain was significantly (p<0.01) higher in UMB supplemented groups than control group. Milk yield also significantly (p<0.01) differed between the control and UMB supplemented group which valued 190, 224, 275 and 225 ml/day for T1, T2 and T3 treatments respectively. The average post partum heat periods of treatments T0, T1, T2 and T3 were 110, 88.6 and 61.6 days respectively which differs significantly (p<0.01). The average birth weight of kids for treatments T0, T1, T2 and T3 were 1.23, 1.47 and 1.43 kg respectively which also differs significantly (p<0.05). Cost benefit ratio estimated was 1:2.00, 1:2.50, 1:2.66 and 1:.12 for the aforesaid treatments respectively.

1. To investigate the effect of UMB feeding for better live weight gain, dressing percentage, carcass quality (Eye muscle area), skin thickness of male goats. 2. To find out the age of sexual maturity, prolificacy, milk yield day, lactation period and kid mortality in female Black Bengal goats. 3. To grow awareness of the peoples about UMB feeding of goats.

1. Material: This research project will conduct to observe the effect of different levels of UMB feeding on Black Bengal goats in different sex. Four treatment groups of UMB (control, 200 gm, 300 gm and 400 gm UMB) on both sex should be maintained properly. All goats will be allowed to 6 hours grazing and duly confined in their shed. A total of 8 treatment groups (male: 4 treatment groups and female: 4 treatment groups) of goat and each treatment will have 3 replications. This is why we need 24 goats for conducting the research work. We will start the research project having 4 months aged goats (just after weaning) and more or less same body weight. Deworming drug will be introduced before starting the experimental work. Body weight should be measured weekly in each treatment group and finally slaughtered the male to keep records of dressing percentage, carcass quakity and skin thickness. Breeding, prolificacy, age of sexual maturity, milk yield/day, lactation length and kid mortality in female treatment group.

2. Design of experiments: The data on different parameters in this study will be kept methodology. The collected data will be compiled, tabulated and analysis by using a Completely Randomixed Desigh (CRD). Analysis of variances will be obderved to see the significance of the experiment as per Zaman et. Al. (1982).

3. Procedure to be followed in achieving stated objectives: The research work will be for 2 years. There are 2 different research works with same feeding trial will be done in the project. One for male and one for female goats. Both the experiments will be done at the same time to adjust the whole time period of the project. One month will be needed for pre-adjustment period before starting the experiments. Six months will be needed for the experiment with male and 1 year and 6 months for female goats. Another five months will be required for data compilation, analysis and report writing. Total time required = 2 years.

The study was revealed that 4 treatments overall performances of 100 g UMB/d fed goats were more satisfactory than control group and any others UMB supplemented group.
