Five lines of bullock’s heart (Annona reticulate) such as AR Jam-001, AR Jam-002, AR-Jam-003, AR Jam-004 and AR Jam-005 were evaluated at the Regional Agricultural Research Station, Jamalpur during the year 2018-19. The highest plant height (2.80 m) was recorded in AR Jam-003 and the lowest (2.13 m) plant height was in AR Jam-004. Base girth was maximum (24.00 cm) in AR Jam-005 and minimum (15.50 cm) in AR Jam-004.

To study the variability for selection of improved germplasm and release varieties for farmers.

Five lines of bullock’s heart germplasm were collected from different areas of Mymensingh region and were planted at the Regional Agricultural Research Station, Jamalpur in July 2016. The experiment was laid out in single row plantation accommodating 5 plants per row. Manures and fertilizers were applied at recommended doses. Weeding, irrigation and other management practices were done as and when necessary.

The highest plant height (2.80 m) was recorded in AR Jam-003 and the lowest (2.13 m) plant height was in AR Jam-004. Base girth was maximum (24.00 cm) in AR Jam-005 and minimum (15.50 cm) in AR Jam-004. The plants are at vegetative stage. The experiment will be continued.
