The study was conducted at the Documentation Laboratory of Plant Genetic Resources Centre, BARI, Joydebpur, Gazipur during 2015-06. BARC developed a Gene Bank software for BARC and 7 NARS Institute under Management Information System (MIS). This software maintained data on the collection, conservation, characterization, evaluation, and utilization. This software is using for the documentation of germplasm at PGRC. Passport data of 4652 accessions were documented. A good number of accessions have been received from Wheat, Horticulture, Pulse and Oilseeds Research Centre, Plant Breeding Division of BARI, Rajshahi University, and Chittagong University from 1981 to 1994. The passport information of most accessions is not known. The accessions are maintaining as breeding material.
