The experiment was conducted at Spices Research Centre-Bogura; Regional spices research centr-Magura and Gazipur and spices research sub-centr- Faridpur, Lalmonirhat, during November, 2011 to March, 2012. Three promising coriander lines (COR011, COR012 and COR015) were included in the study with check BARI Dhonia-1. The experiment was laid out in RCB design with three replications. All yield contributing characters showed significant difference in different locations. Among the studied we observed that coriander line COR15 gave the highest yield (1.43 t/ha) and incase of location, Magura gave the highest yield (1.88 t/ha). The lowest yield was recorded from BARI Dhonia-1(1.17 t/ha) which followed by coriander line COR011 (1.23 t/ha) and incase of location, Lalmonirhat gave the lowest yield (0.96 t/ha). Among the studied we found that yield contributing characters showed the best performed at Magura location and among the lines COR015 has performed well considering yield and yield contributing characters.

Variety and Species
To select the promising line/lines over locations for testing regional adaptability.
The trial was carried out at five locations namely Spices Research Centre-Bogra; Regional spices centre- Magura and Gazipur and Spices Research Sub-centre- Faridpur and Lalmonirhat, during 1 November, 2011 t0 17 March, 2012. The trial was consisted of three coriander lines viz COR011, COR012 and COR015 including BARI Dhonia-1 as check. The experiment was laid out in RCB design with three replications. The unit plot size was 4.0m x 1.5m with spacing 30cm x 10cm. planting was done on 1 November, 2011. The land was fertilized with cowdung and N70P25K50 Kg/ha. The entire quantity of cowdung, P, K, S, Zn and half of N were applied as basal dose. Half of N was applied 30 DAS followed by irrigation. Weeding and other intercultural operations were done as and when required. The crop was harvested on 17 March, 2012 when 80% seeds were matured. Data on yield and yield components were recorded and analyzed by MS stat software.
