67 mobile hullers were surveyed in Comilla, Brahmanbaria, Bogra and Sirajganj districts through a structured questionnaire. The monthly income ranged from Tk. 1800-3000 and Tk. 2500-3500 for medium (No. 8) and small (No. 4) hullers respectively. Mobile huller provides a new custom service and alternative income source for the rural people where on other rice milling machinery was available.

To study the mobile rice huller at rural areas

A benchmark survey was conducted at Sadar Upazilla of Comilla and Brahmanbaria districts and Sadar, Gabtoli and Sherpur Upazillas of Bogra district, Kazipur and Belkuchi Upzillas of Sirajgonj districts at the vicinity of PAMP project areas. Survey data were collected through structured questionnaire by the PAMP project staff. In all, 67 mobile hullers were surveyed during the reporting period. Collected data were analyzed using standard procedures.
