The field capacity of the tow-tyne plough was found to be 0.03 ha/hr which was higher than that of the conventional plough (0.22 ha/hr).

The animal drawn two-tyne plough was fabricated in the FMPHT research workshop, BRRI. This plough was test in sandy loam soil, BRRI RS, Rajshahi. Field capacity and force requirement of two-tyne was measured and compared with conventional plough.

The second prototype was tested in the light soil (sandy loam) of BRRI farm, Rajshahi. The field capacity of the plough was found to be 0.03 ha/hr which was higher than the field capacity 0.022 ha/hr of the conventional plough. The force requirement was within the capacity of the two medium size bullocks.
