Selection of heat tolerant yield trial was conducted at BSPC, Debigonj and 50germplasms of BARI released potato variety, advanced breeder line and exotic germplasms were included. The genotype Atlas produced lowest marketable (39.00) tuber and non-marketable (00.00) from Dheera was found. Tuber number per plant and weight per plant (0.27 kg) and yield per line (3.8 kg) was observed in the genotype Saikat and highest in Elgar (0.8 Kg/plant & 10.20 Kg/line). Considering yield production per line among the tested genotypes 29 germplasms were to further evaluation in next year.

In BSPC, Debigonj Most of the BARI released potato varieties including exotic and TCRC & CIP advanced lines were planted (50 germplasms) on 10 October 2012 in a single line of 3m long and seed to seed 25cm apart. Fertilizers were applied @ 325-220-250-120 kg/ha of urea, TSP, MP and gypsum, respectively. Necessary intercultural operations were done as per TCRC recommendation. The crop was harvested at 90 DAP. Data were recorded on Foliage coverage, plant height, Plant vigour, number of stem/plant, number of tuber/plant, weight of tuber/plant and tuber yield/line and grading by number & weight. Data were calculated using Microsoft excel program. Superior genotypes marked at vegetative stage and final selection was made after harvest on the basis of yield production per line.
