The study was conducted at farmer’s fields of Bogra and Comilla. The wilt incidence ranged from 0.81 to 10.5%. The integration of urea (325 kg/ha) with lime (3 t/ha) and SBP (Stable Bleaching Powder) (15 kg/ha) performed the best against bacterial wilt.

To test the integration of some chemicals as amendments to combat the pathogen effectively
The study was conducted on bacterial wilt infected fields located at Bogra and Comilla. Whole tubers of apparently healthy cultivar Cardinal were used. The unit plot size was 3.0 x 3.0 m. spacing was 60 X 25 cm. There were 10 treatments. Recommended doses of Phosphorus, Potash and Gypsum were applied in soil. Lime was added in soil before 21 days of planting. SBP (Stable Bleaching Powder) was incorporated in soil at planting following RCBD with three replications.
