To Find Out the Effect of Different Type of Drawing Machinery on Medium Count of Jute (7.5 Lbs/spy) Yarn Quality.

Abstract/ Executive Summary:

Different types of doubling are adopted using both Conventional and High speed drawing frame to spin 7.5 lbs/spy yarn from BWD jute fibre. It was observed that Tensile strength & QR% of line 1 is better than of line 2. But yarn irregularity i.e. CV% of count of line 2 is better than line 1. In this regard mere trials are needed with different grades of jute fibre for significant result.

Objectives:

To study the effect of change of draft doubling and type of the drawing machinery on yarn quality.

Methodology:

a) Normal processing sequences is to be followed with the push bar orthodox/conventional drawing frames/machinery i.e. 1st draw, 2nd draw and 3rd draw frame adopting medium draft for 7.5 lbs/spy (258.37 Tex) with BWB fibre. In this process doubling system will be 2:1, 3:1 & 2:1 respectively. b)Another processing sequences is to be followed with the Monohead high speed drawing machinery i.e. 1st draw. Mono Head high speed drawing and 3rd drawing frame adopting medium draft fort same count with same fibre. In this process doubling system will 2:1, 8:1 & 1:1 respectively.

Achievement/Findings:

In jute processing drawing frames provide parallelization of individual fibres, removal of thick & thin places sliver to required thickness to feet to spinning frame. To obtain above functions their should be a required optimum draft and doubling for the slivers and this work will provide us with the above information.
