It was observed that mean percent tuber rottage due to disease was increased with the increase of period under natural conditions from 4.77 to 32.73% respectively for 30 and 180 days after storing. After 180 days variety Meridian showed lowest percent of rottage tuber (1.21%) followed be Lady Rosetta (4.26%) and Granola (4.55%) and it was highest in variety Terragold (81.96%). In case of over all performance, variety Meridian, Lady Rosetta and Granola showed best (9) and Terragold showed worse (1) at 180 after storing at natural conditions. Varieties Almera, granola and Victoria did not show any tuber rottage up to 150 days at natural conditions.

To evaluate the performance of different potato varieties against post harvest disease under natural conditions at Joydebpur.

Thirty potato varieties were preserved in the processing shed under netted wooden rake under ambient temperature at TCRC, Joydebpur. Each Variety contained 15 tubers with different sizes. Data on tuber rottage due to diseases and high temperature, weight loss and sprouting were taken at 30 days interval and continued up to 180 DAS (days after storage). Over all performance of different varieties were graded 180 days after storing following 1-9 scale, where 1 means very worse and 9 means best performance.
