An experiment was conducted at TCRC, Joydebpur and Debigonj during 2007-08 to find out the optimum planting time for maximum yield with better quality of processing variety Felsina. Seed potato planted on Nov. 15 and harvested on 90 days after planting gave the highest yield of 29.37 t/ha.

To maximize production of potato.

The experiment was conducted at TCRC, Joydebpur and Debigonj during 2007-2008 rabi season. Two factors were included in the study. Factor An included planting time 3 were P1=Oct. 30, P2= Nov. 15 and P3=Nov. 30. Factor B included harvesting time 2 were H1=80 DAP and H2=90 DAP Unit plot size was 3.0 X3.0. The study was laid out in factorial RCB design with 3 replications. Whole tuber of variety Feline was planted with a spacing of 60 cm X 25 cm. Fertilizers was applied as per TCRC recommendation. Intercultural operations were done as per necessity. The crop was harvested at 80 and 90 days after planting.
