Thirty-four entries were evaluated under natural condition against Tikka and Rust diseases of groundnut. No test entries was found to be tolerant against Tikka but two entries (JX-87015-S11 and SM-6) were found to be tolerant against Rust disease.

To evaluate the groundnut lines against Tikka and Rust diseases under natural condition .

Thirty-four entries were evaluated under natural condition against Tikka and Rust diseases of groundnut. The entries were sown in a single row of 4m long. A susceptible check (Dhaka-1) was sown after every two-test line. Planting spacing was 50cm x 10cm with three replications. Disease data of Tikka and Rust were recorded 15 days before harvest following 1-5 scoring scale.
