The varieties D-154, BJC-83, BJC-7370, O-9897 and OM-1 were used for this experiment. Seeds were sown on 15th of each month is 5x4 meters plot in Green house campus. D-154: In February sowing the variety flowered around 75 days and rose to its maximum around 132 days in April sowing and then it gradually declined to 88 days in June sowing. In February sowing the plant height was about 135 cm & it rose to its maximum around 310 cm in April sowing and then declined to about 110 cm in July sowing. Seed production was about 1.18 g/plant in February sowing and it gradually attained its maximum in June (8 g/plant) after that it came down to 0.83 g/plant in July sowing. The highest germination percentage maintained its trend from March to June about 90%. BJC-7370 : Plants of February sowing flowered after around 83 days. Highest flowering time (135 days) was obtained in April & then it declined to 115 days in July sowing. Highest plant height (371 cm) was obtained in April sowing & lowest (83 cm) was in February sown o.54g. Seed yield was about o.54 g/pant in February sowing and it gradually attained its maximum (6.47 g/plant) in June sowing and then it came down to 3.45 g/plant in July sowing. Highest germination percentage maintained its trend about 95% from April to July sowings. BJC-83 : The stage of average flowering appeared at 75 days in the plants of February sowing and gradually it rose to 123 days in April sowing and then gradually declined. Highest plant height (260 cm) and lowest (59 cm) were obtained in March and June sowing respectively. Eed yield was about 5 g/plant was obtained in April sowing and it gradually declined to about 2 * 3.3 plant in February & July sowings respectively. Seed quality maintained about 90% from April to July sowings. OM-1: IN OM-1 plants of February sowing flowered at 21 days. To study the seasonal effect on the yield and quality of the seed

The main purpose of the experiment was to study the seasonal effect on the yield and quality of the seed with objective to develop an expanded schedule of seed production round the year. The varieties D-154, BJC-83, BJC-7370, O-9897 and OM-1 were used for this experiment. Seeds were sown on 15th of each month is 5x4 meters plot in Green house campus.
